Jeep brand has a new Wrangler that is a throwback to the Golden Eagle. We Duke fans know that the Golden Eagle was made famous by none of other than Daisy Duke and her white Golden Eagle named Dixie. Jeep knows that too. Just seeing the above 2018 Wrangle Golden Eagle reminds us of Dixie, but Jeep took it further by adding something very special to that giant eagle decal on the hood.
The eagle looks just like it did on Daisy's white Jeep. But what is the tiny addition on the left side of the eagle's tail feather?
A closer looks shows us something familiar.
Jeep added a pair of jean shorts with a daisy flower on them. That is an official homage to Daisy Duke and her famous Daisy Dukes jean shorts. Every 2018 Jeep Wrangler Golden Eagle comes with this detail. That is an official nod to Daisy, Catherine Bach, and the Dukes of Hazzard on production model Jeep vehicles. I think this is incredible. Jeep knows that she made the vehicle famous and they are paying respect. Thank you Jeep for adding this detail! I think this makes the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Golden Vehicle officially a Dukes Collectible. Who's getting one?
Now we all know that Jeep is a part of the Chrysler family. We also all know that Dodge is also in that family. With 2019 being the 50th anniversary on the most famous and best looking muscle car of all time, the 1969 Dodge Charger, could Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram have something similar up their sleeve to commemorate the General Lee? Wouldn't that be awesome? An official 01 edition Charger or Challenger? Come on Dodge, make this happen!!!!!
