I've gotten so many great new items from Cooter's lately that I can fill a whole post with them. DukesCollector Cooter is along for the ride (in the General Lee) for this one.
DukesCollector Cooter told me this is his favorite new item that Cooter's sells and I have to agree with him.
Technically, this belongs in the Ducks of Hazzard category, but more on those soon. This is a 1/64 size rubber General Lee toy. I love it so much. Gone are the days when you could get a new Hot Wheel sized General Lee for a few bucks. This little rubber Gen'ral fills that void.
Simplistic in it's design, this cars hits the right notes. The wheels and 01 look great. It doesn't have so much detail and there could be a few nickpicks, but overall this is a great little representation of our favorite car.
It even has a squeaker on the bottom. The bottom has two websites, CootersPlace.com and aandapromotionsproducts.com. A&A Products did a great job creating this for Cooter's. I got a bunch of these and love each one.
Ok, so I mentioned ducks earlier. If you haven't been to Cooter's lately, you might have thought I mistyped Dukes. Nope. Cooter's has gone full steam ahead into the little rubber ducky craze. You know, Jeep Wrangler owners put them on their dash. Well why is the Jeep Wrangler so iconic? The
2018 Jeep Wrangler Golden Eagle paid homage to Daisy Duke because we all know Daisy made the Jeep what it is today. So if you need some Dukes ducks, Cooter's is the place to go. Cooter's has introduced the world to the Ducks of Hazzard!
Let's start at the top. This is Cooter Davenduck (Cooter Duckenport?). Notice his iconic yellow hat is a duck. Alma and the crew went above and beyond designing these little beauties. Cooter is giving a thumbs up and holding a wrench. Like Cooter does.
The backs have a Ducks of Hazzard logo as well as Cooter's website.
Along side Cooter is Boss and Uncle Jesse. These are rather well done likenesses.
Rosco is an actual duck. Flash is not. The reasons are unclear. The results are hilarious.
The citizens of Hazzard aren't the only ones to get ducked. The General Lee and Rosco's Patrol Car come in duck form as well.
Daisy, like Rosco, is a duck. There's also a duckified Dixie Jeep. There are a few new ones that I haven't gotten yet that are non-duck duck Daisy and Luke, who is also non-duck but a duck. Maybe we need an Alma duck as well.
DukesCollector Cooter is fond of duck Cooter. So am I. What other ducks are we hoping Cooter's makes?
Next up is ol' velvet ears in plush form. The
golden era Flash plush toys have entered into highly sought after and rare status so Cooter's has filled another void for Dukes fans. This cuddly little best friend of Rosco is perfect for collecting or playing. He/she (it's dealers choice) comes with a really cool doghouse/box.
The box carries the same theme as Cooter's latest diecasts, which I will showoff later in the post.
Cooter graces the bottom of the box. I am definitely a kid of all ages.
Flash's big old droopy eyes are just begging for doggy num-nums.
I love the Cooter's tag. Alma and the crew at Cooter's went into great detail to recreate the original toy while also putting their own spin on it.
Speaking of the old toy, here are some comparison shots. The new Cooter's Flash is about the same size as the smaller golden era toy. There are four different golden era Flash toys. One sitting and one laying in both bigger and smaller sizes.
My old dog, his name is Flash, I don't know why cause he ain't too fast. He runs two steps then he runs out of gas, in a one dog race, he'd come in last. Singing go Flash go, but he sleeps and yawns, singing go Flash go, but he just lays on the lawn. Scratching his fleas and wrinkling.
Cooter's has given us a great line of plush toys that includes the General, Dixie, the tow truck, the caddy, and the patrol car. Flash fits in great with this collection.
Now here's a really cool thing Cooter's came up with. This is a set of sticker sheets full of all kinds of Dukes goodness. There are five sheets total and each one has a number of different stickers. These are so neat.
The General Lee theme sheet has images of the car, a heart 01, and a few other great designs.
This one has a Hazzard County theme and features logos of the Boars Nest, the Bank of Hazzard, the Hazzard Garage and deep cuts like Ace's Used Cars, Rhuebottom's Store, WHOGG Radio and the Tisdale Cab Co., run by Emma herself.
There's a Cooter's specific sheet that has several familiar images and logos from out favorite fictional auto repair garage.
Hazzard County's finest get its own sheet with images and logos of Flash, a Rosco re-election poster, the police patch and a few others.
There's a Dixie specific sheet with Daisy's Jeep as well as a pink 01 and General Lee.
The final sheet is all I Love Cooter, which, come on, we all love Cooter. This sheet is just perfect.
DukesCollector Cooter had trouble picking a favorite, but in the end decided he loved I love Cooter the most. These stickers sheets are just amazing. I haven't put the stickers on anything yet, because I am a crazy collector and I want to keep the sheets intact, but I did get multiples of each so I really need to use them as intended. I could see these stickers going everywhere from inside my collection to the real world like water bottles, phone cases, laptops, mirrors, just everywhere.
These are great inexpensive items that you can buy in store on online. Everyone should get some of these stickers. What other sticker sheet themes should Cooter's come up with?
The last few items I got from Cooter's recently are limited edition diecasts. You know I love my diecast General Lees. I kind of centered my whole life around them. When Cooter's releases new ones, I'm as happy as can be.
First up is a Happy Birthday General Lee 1/25 scale black Charger. It comes in the excellently designed Cooter's box.
The box borrows some similarities from the classic Ertl box, but is distinctively Cooter's.
My favorite part of the box is the image on the back of the Gen'ral peeking out of Cooter's Garage. The General almost looks menacing like it's daring someone to challenge it to a race. Go ahead, try it. You won't win.
Having a smaller HBGL is always a great idea. For those who don't know, Happy Birthday General Lee refers to the General Lee's origin story that was told in the final season premiere. The Dukes reminisce about how the General joined the family. A pair of bad guys wrecked a black Charger while evading the Capitol City police. The Dukes Boys bought the wreck and help Cooter transform it into the greatest car ever created. It's stuff of legend really. This limited edition diecast celebrates the history of our favorite car.
Now this is a genius idea. You remember the
Norev General Lee that came out in late 2024. It's a very nicely detailed 1/43 diecast that was released in Europe in a plain jane white box. Cooter's corrected the only thing wrong with the Norev General Lee, it's boring old box. This is the Cooter's Norev General Lee in the perfect Cooter's box. That's what Cooter's does, make good things better. Great job crew!!
I went into detail about the car in that previous post. It's a wonderful replica. If you didn't buy one yet, you need to skip the regular version and get the Cooter's release. It is just perfect. You have to get this car.
DukesCollector Cooter sure is proud to be an action figure version of the Real Cooter who has given us so many great diecasts.

Duck Cooter was quacking mad that he missed out in being in the above picture of the garage sides of the cars so I had to include this picture. Sorry duck Cooter.
The final piece is another Cooter's exclusive General Lee diecast, this time in 1/64. These are also limited and sell out at each event I go to in Luray. The front features yet another cool design of the Hazzard Garage.
The back features that awesome image of Cooter saying his famous line "Breaker one, breaker one, I might be crazy but I ain't dumb, any y'all Dukes out there on the Hazzard net, come back" That's fun to type.
The garage is on the back of each diecast box, but this image of Cooter is on the bottom, tinted in orange. The crew does such an outstanding job at Cooter's.
DukesCollector Cooter, who is kinda my sidekick here on the blog, now has his own sidekick in duck Cooter. They love all these Cooter pictures. So do I!
